WHEN IS THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR TO SELL MY HOME IN OTTAWA?
You can sell your home all year long, but houses USUALLY sell more quickly and sell for more in Spring. Historically, Spring is when there are more interested buyers and when it’s easier to generate more interest in your listing. However, because of COVID-19, this was completely disrupted in 2020 and we expect to see much different buying patterns for much of 2021 and 2022. There are also many other factors impacting the timing for demand in a listing: the economy, interest rates, population growth, etc. Your best bet is to contact us to find out the state of the market and when we would advise to list your home to maximize how much it will sell for!

A mistake that many sellers make is spending too much time and money on things that won’t make a difference. Worse, they invest on some improvements that cost more than what they will get back when they sell! You might have heard the kitchen and bathroom improvements have the biggest impact, but that’s not always true as they are also costly renovations!
